The Herd Book Board consists of nine members elected by the members’ meeting. Its main task is to manage expert activities of the Herd Book and its technical lead. In connection with the mentioned tasks the Board approves methodical approaches for individual activities, discusses and approves program solutions, determines conditions for animal registration and inspects their observing. It is authorized to grant exceptions from the Herd Book rules and to propose and take sanctions against their violation. It proposes a budget of the Herd Book and inspects its observing, it proposes financial rules and determines fees for different Herd Book activities.
